Well worth a trek up the steep hillside (wear suitable footwear as it is slippy on the way back!!)
Great views and atmosphere. Is being renovated so donate if you can (details are posted on one of the building doors)
Also visit the chapel which has wonderful frescos and rustic simplicity.
Very fancy ghost town on Garda lake. Nice walk in the woods. Unluckily the renovation has come to a stop and the place looks now abandoned and ruining

Definitely a great destination if you're tired of all the tourist traps and crowded streets!

The place is wonderful, evocative, full of history, if they would quit arguing and begin to restore it, this would be the best thing for its future. Otherwise some of the houses could collapse very soon
